Positive: Perfect for the overnighter I needed. The evening and morning staff were lovely and my room was comfy and clean. Proper kettle and coffee maker in the room too. I decided to have my dinner there as well and it was so delicious, really great food. There is a pub through from the restaurant if you wanted something a little more lively, but you can just relax in the restaurant side of the Inn for a little more quiet, which is what I did. It wasn't too busy and the staff were more than happy for me to sit and just enjoy the space. The breakfast the next morning is really good too, it definitely sets you up for the day! All the staff were so great, really friendly, helpful and so welcoming. All in all it was a great stay and I would definitely go back again!!

Negative: We would prefer a shower, rather than a bath with a shower hose which you could not stand up in

Positive: Upon arrival the staff were very friendly and the overall atmosphere was welcoming Decent sized car park. Overall a nice stay and ideal for where we needed to be. Clean room and property overall was nice.

Negative: The room was quite basic and although when I booked the room it stated there was a shower, it was just a mixer shower head attached to a bath that you could not stand up in, so a bit of a flawed design. The bed was quite small, although it was comfortable so that made up for it. When we arrived the food smelled delicious so we decided to have an evening meal there. We had to wait for a table, due to us not booking, which didn't take too long. Unfortunately though they seemed to have forgotten our order as we waited quite a while for food, I had to send mine back as the mash potato was extremely dry, no gravy or sauce as an option, but the pie and veg were nicely cooked. The restaurant was very busy but if they want people to return and book a room to stay again, they need to brush up on a few things.

Summary: A better review next time if some aspects improved. Made a better stay by the lovely staff
