Summary: I was traveling alone and wanted a place that was quiet and safe and did not have all the extra amenities I don't use (eg "breakfast", pool, etc.) The experience was better than expected. Owners were the front desk greeters and helpers. I felt like I had gone back to a time when people cared for their properties personally and sincerely desired that their guests have a good experience. If you'd like to see what an older facility looks and smells and feels like when lovingly cared for, be sure to check this place out. It has all the character of an historic motel well maintained and cleaned. This will be my 'go to' rest stop whenever I travel in the area.
