3 Bedroom Ski Chalet in Dorval

Our fully renovated stone cottage is located on a quiet and safe residential street, with lake view to the Lac St-Louis, and Walking distance to the village center of Dorval, where you will find restaurants, a French bakery, cafes, children's park, ice-cream shop, tennis court, bike path. It is 10 min away from Montreal airport and 15-20 min away from Downtown Montreal.
The Space. This 3 bedroom cottage is tastefully decorated and has a fully equipped kitchen with all new appliances, air conditioning on each level, 2 tvs on first floor and 1 tv in the sitting room on 2nd floor, Wi-Fi with high speed internet and barbecue. There is a laundry room with washing machine and dryer. Air dryer, soap, shampoo and conditioner are provided.
Parking available at residence for one big car or 2 small cars, other parking in the street between April and November, city bus at the corner of the street.
It's a great place, perfect for visiting Montreal, then leaving the hustle and bustle of the city and coming back to relax and being close to nature. Having all the comfort and amenities at home is What we want to offer our guests. Try it and you will not forget this unique Journey and experience!

Summary: We were so lucky & privileged to stay in this ideal cottage get-a-way! The owners were very professional & welcoming. The cottage immaculate, very well laid out and conveniently located. We were able to entertain easily and when we felt like a night out there were so many quaint restaurants and ice cream parlours within walking distance. Parks & nature galore and all the water sports that a family could desire! After a busy day out, there were comfy mattresses for a good nights sleep. This cottage in Dorval was the perfect place to occupy the family and only 20 minutes away from downtown Montreal's attractions!

Summary: This cottage is so pretty and the perfect location if you don't want to be in the business of the city. Everything we needed was available for cooking and relaxing, It is in walking distance to good restaurants and parks. Easy commute, once we were shown, to the bus terminal to get into the city. On;y comment is this: I was emailed days before arrival and told that I would need a $500 refundable breakage fee. I was not told that it had to be in cash. I sssumed that my charge would be held and not put through. Luckily we were able to scrape that amount together. The money was returned to us upon inspection at the end of out stay. We have traveled exensively and never ran into this before. VRBO has so many attached charges that this seems excessive, especially since it was in cash.

Summary: If you want to stay close to the bustle of Montreal city this may not work out for you but if you want to be in a quieter neighborhood right by the St. Lawrence river and many parks and green spaces and bike/walking paths then this is perfect. Dorsal has several tasty spots to eat and people were very welcoming. Roselyn was available to assist and answer our questions. We took an Uber into the city one day ($40 CA each way for four of us) and that was wise as there is a lot of construction and congestion between Dorval and Montreal. This property is very close to the airport but we did not have any problem with noise. We would highly recommend this house and hope to return again.

Summary: Cape Cod Cottage was a lovely place to stay for our visit with local family. Modern, airy and comfortable. We enjoyed our visit and would book again for a future stay.

Summary: This was the last stop in our tour of Eastern Canada and after the noise and hustle of Toronto it proved the perfect location to end our holiday. Roselyne gave us a warm welcome to her spacious well-equipped property which met all the needs of four seniors. The stores and restaurants of Dorval are within walking distance and the location in a cul-de-sac and beside the St Lawrence makes for a very relaxing stay. Unreservedly recommended.

Summary: This was our last stop on a 16-night tour of Eastern Canada and after the noise and hustle of Toronto this proved the perfect place to round off our holiday. Roselyne gave us a warm welcome to her well-equipped and spacious property, which met all the needs of four seniors. We enjoyed our b-b-q's in the back garden and with the stores, cafes and restaurants of Dorval within walking distance we were able to mix 'eating in' with 'eating out'. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cape Cod Cottage and if we ever manage it back across 'the pond' Dorval, and Cape Cod Cottage especially, will be on our schedule.
