Positive: - wonderful host - great communication, quick response - very spacious inside and out - nice backyard with a little mini golf - clean comfy beds - extra towels and linen - baby items on hand

Negative: - wasn’t aware that it was a duplex - no A/C but fans in each room (it gets toasty during the day) - bathroom was not very clean - limited cleaning supplies (no broom and vacuum didn’t work well) - backyard still seems to be under construction and was kind of filthy to sit on the outdoor furniture

Positive: Space indoors was as pictured and promised. Very Clean. Cute and Nice inside. Fully stocked with clean towels, hand soaps, extra linens and blankets. Beautifully furnished. Would absolutely stay again!

Negative: The description states it’s the entire house. It’s not. It’s a duplex. Upon arrival, we were very confused and lowkey scared when we got there seeing a car already in the drive way and that someone was already inside on the one side. All which could have been avoided if the description stated it’s a duplex and you get the entire one side/apartment. The outdoor space/backyard is under construction as well, which was a bummer and not communicated. Partially booked here because of the pictured play structure outside for our young daughter but that isn’t there. Not a huge deal, just a teeny bummer.

Positive: Quiet house in a decent neighborhood. Two bedrooms with a good bathroom and kitchen. Large living area room. The house is split, the owners or others stay on the other side but are quiet. There are cute but semi-shy cats on the property. Torrey Pines is nearby, downtown isn't much further. I would stay here again, very comfortable.

Negative: Limited outlets near the bed. Could use a power strip.

Positive: Cute and comfortable duplex property. Beds were surprisingly comfortable. I usually don't sleep well while traveling, but slept very well here. The location is amazing. It is 4 mins away from the highways and everything is just a short drive away. Perhaps the best thing about this property is the host. Always available. We had some exchanges via messages, and I never had to wait more than 2 minutes for a reply. This was great. The host tried to be helpful with whatever she could.

Negative: I think the host just listed this property a little while ago so there are some inaccuracies in the description as well as some things on the property that could be improved. 1. It is mentioned several times that there's A/C. There is not, in fact, A/C. There's a central heat (furnace) and a whole house fan (Google it if you're not sure what it is) - this works great for most of the year in a place like Clairemont but during a heat wave, it'll not save you. It's just going to suck the hot air from the outside in. There's no A/C in a traditional sense of a heat pump which transfers the heat from inside to the outside. I brought this up to the host's attention, and she mentioned that she'll update the listing but as of yet, that didn't happen. In any case, we visited in April so it worked out great for us, but get ready for some roasting if you're visiting August-October. 2. Kitchen is haphazardly supplied. It really feels like the owners just took a trip to Target and bought what they thought of at the time but have not tried living in this space and make do with what's just there. For example, there are plates and a full set of knives, but only 2 cups and an absolute minimal set of kitchen utensils, enough barely for 2 people. There's a brand new coffee machine but no coffee or coffee filters. There are kitchen scrubbers and sponges (for washing dishes, in addition to the dishwasher) but no kitchen soap. There's a paper towel holder, but no paper towels, etc. On the other hand, there's a decent selection of pots and pans as well as a giant tub of vegetable oil and a full pound of salt. Basically, count on bringing everything kitchen-related yourself if you really want to be sure you'll have it. 3. Cleanliness - As mentioned in other reviews. There is cat hair everywhere, but especially around the living room. The bathroom tub and especially the drain is full of hair also.

Positive: Beautiful home close to beach. Quite and relaxing. Would stay again Everything was great. Clean and cozy other then the small issues in bath. Beds were clean and comfortable

Negative: Could be cleaned a little more thoroughly. Lots of Hair on floor and tub in bathroom. Bath sink was slow draining Didn't know owner stayed on site which is fine just weren't aware of it.

Positive: Cute little home with an adorable backyard. Location was perfect. It was close to everything! Covered parking in the driveway was really nice. The only thing and I’m sure they can fix it is that there was no kitchen where like utensils cups things like that, but otherwise we really enjoyed ourselves!
