Summary: Had to ask front desk to clean hallway as was garbage and food/dirt very visible in hallway outside room. Security trying to remove people and overheard over radios profanity between workers…not a great feel

Summary: Warning about the reviews we read prior to booking. All the great reviews do not reflect reality. Start with the good. Friendly staff. Good security. Now the reality. First room had broken door security latch. Hallway area, rugs, walls etc were poor condition. Smoke smelling room. Loud bathroom fan that does not turn off. Overall tired building. The price is high compared with other properties.

Summary: The hallway was very dirty when we arrived with lots of stains on the carpet. We paid a lot more than usual and the hotel was very noisy late into the night. We didn’t sleep well the first night. The second night was a bit better. We will avoid Winnipeg until the evacuees are home safe.
