This charming house is located in Selva, at the foot of the Serra de Tramuntana mountains, and offers accommodation for 4 people.
Starting with the exterior, the large 9x3 metre saltwater swimming pool with a depth of 1.70 metres stands out. It is ideal for refreshing dips and, thanks to the sun loungers, sunbathing afterwards. Before entering the interior, there is a spacious, idyllic porch where you can start the day in the best possible way, perhaps with a long breakfast with your loved ones. One corner of the porch has a sofa where you can relax in the afternoon or enjoy a glass of wine. Thanks to the mobile barbecue, cooking under the starry sky will be no problem. The estate is also home to some horses. The owner comes daily to feed the animals and you can go horse riding, always by prior arrangement.
Inside, spread over two floors, a bright living-dining room invites you to relax while watching television or reading a good book. During the colder months, you can light a cosy fire in the wood-burning stove. The open-plan gas kitchen has everything you need to prepare any dish. The laundry room, located on the terrace, has a washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board. Upstairs, you will find a room with a sofa, a bathroom with a shower, a bedroom with a double bed and a bedroom with two single beds and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. For our younger guests, we can provide a cot and a high chair. This modern house offers air conditioning in both the ground floor and first floor living rooms, and in the twin bedroom, as well as three fans.
The village of Selva is located at the foot of the Serra de Tramuntana mountains in western Mallorca and is a quiet place surrounded by mountains and nature. There are many hiking and cycling trails around the house, for example to Ses Fonts Ufanes, underground springs in Campanet that flow after heavy rainfall. Summary: We loved our stay at the house. The quiet but central location, close to the beautiful Serra de Tramontana with it’s mountains and secluded beaches. Palma de Mallorca and the airport are appr 35 minutes by car. Car is necessary for this location. A special word of thanks for our kind host Mateu, he was very helpfull, kind and hospitable. He brought all kinds of Mallorquin delicacies and shared some of his home grown vegetables with us. The house is comfortable and well equipped. Beds are very firm/hard.
