Positive: An away-from-it-all feeling — much like a camping trip with all the conveniences. The view of the lake is fantastic, and the property has so much to offer. If it was any later in the season, we would have loved to test the water. Beds were comfortable, everything was clean. It’s a camp house, so as long as you adjust your expectations to rustic charm with modern touches, you’ll love it like we did.
Negative: Would have appreciated slightly better directions the last 100 yards. We found it okay in daylight though. That said, it’s really tucked away, which is great!

Positive: Our stay at Camp Lake Bear was an absolute joy. The house was roomy and comfortable for our group of four adults and one dog. The view of the lake from the house is gorgeous, as is the view of the house and deck from the lake. The property is private, cozy, and well-stocked. Grace is responsive and kind, even offering to mail a forgotten item back to us after we returned home. We hope to be back soon!
