Negative: Not the property’s fault. There was a parade happening and because of the barricades it took us 2 hours from the time we arrived in Halifax to get to the hotel.

Positive: All good, really. Staff very helpful, great room and food good.

Negative: I've no problem with the room deposit, but maybe make it more prominent in the details as I wasn't expecting it (could just be cause I'm blind as a bat and didn't see it). Apart from that, everything is cool.

Positive: Great location in Halifax, walkable to restaurants and waterfront. Our room was very nice with a view towards the harbor (note, we were unexpectedly upgraded to a king suite!). The staff was very accommodating and the breakfast buffet was above average for a hotel.
