Positive: Everything was as I expected, the location, the room, the typical Greek hospitality. The village is very small and very quiet and peaceful. The courtyard is beautiful and well maintained (insect repellent is mandatory!). Sunbeds available just across the street.

Positive: I loved my stay at Calypso Studios. It's only a 23 minute drive from the airport so no time at all really but far away enough that you won't hear planes. It's right on top of the ocean and is stunning. I had a Studio room which was perfectly roomy for just me, and had a lovely balcony. The room was spotless and Marina was a fantastic host, welcoming, warm and couldn't do enough to help.

Positive: Our upstairs room was great on a nice quiet property. Separate bedroom with small kitchen. Nice view of ocean from upstairs patio . Easy free parking. Super friendly owners. Across the street is small restaurant with access to good swimming spot. Good location to explore that side of island.

Negative: Nothing. But definitely need car if staying here.

Positive: It felt like a home away from home. My one year old still remembers mrs Marina and 'talks' about her. The fact that we could cook was amazing traveling with a small kid and having rainy weather. We could eat healthy and save a lot of time and stress at the restaurants.

Positive: Very pleasant apartment in a very charming building. Half an hour from Zakynthos town. Wonderful hosts. Coffee and tea provided, as well as toast, honey and jam. Even a juice and water in the fridge. There’s no beach to speak of, but a decent restaurant across the street. Great beaches are to be found on the island, but a means of transportation is necessary. Plenty of shops and places to eat very nearby. Comfortable bed, good WiFi.
