The cottage "Relaxation and Horizons was established in September 2014. This bright and spacious house of 160 m2 is situated in a quiet village and character 16 km from Bayeux, 16 km from Caen, 16 km from the landing beaches (Courseulles, Asnelles ...).
The house is located on a park of 2000 m2 and private parking can accommodate 8 cars.

Summary: A very enjoyable week in Normandy at this well located, spacious house near Bayeux, Caen and the D-day beaches. Fantastic accommodation and facilities in beautiful surroundings with a large garden for our 10 and 12 year old to play in with the added bonus of a wealth of books on Normandy history in the house.

Summary: The house was beautiful, comfortable, and very clean. It is located in the countryside where it was very peaceful. It was close to all the Normandy beaches that we visited during the day and were able to come home and relax in the evenings. Annie and Phillipe were very helpful and they also had plenty of books about the area right there in the house. We had a great time and would highly recommend it.

Summary: Very friendly and helpful hosts and a lovely property in a charming location with a large garden. Excellent location for visiting the D-day beaches, memorials, Bayeux and surrounding areas. We were a party of 5 including a 93 year old, the facilities in the gite were perfect for our needs. Thank you for making us feel very welcome.

Summary: We received a very warm welcome from Annie & Philippe who provided us with all the information needed to make our stay enjoyable. The accommodation is extremely spacious and fitted with modern appliances. Access to Bayeux, Caen and the coast is easy. There are smaller towns close by with a good range of shops and restaurants. Summary: The house was perfect for our group of 8, all rooms are a great size, and the bathroom facilities are excellent. The kitchen/dining room is huge and light, and we spent a great deal of time relaxing over some lovely cheese and wine. The garden is amazing and massive, we had a lovely time playing silly games as the weather was really kind during our October half term stay. We were ideally situated to get to all of the landing beaches, and my 82 year old father had a particularly wonderful time. Highly recommend.
