Positive: Location - excellent for walk along the river in both directions, and good local pub around the corner. Breakfast - good quality ingredients used and cooked perfectly, together with cafetiere of ground coffee Very friendly hosts

Negative: Washing facilities a bit cramped but perfectly adequate power shower.

Positive: Our room was in the coach house next to the main property. The property is Grade II listed and is set in much larger than average grounds for the area in general. It offers fairly easy walking access for the Ironbridge Gorge UNESCO sites and museums. The room had all expected amenities other than a bath which doesn't suit us anyway. The proprietors James and Sara are lovely people and will offer newcomers to the area knowledgeable information about the local amenities. Breakfast was excellent and freshly cooked according to a menu that you pre-order the evening before.

Negative: These are things that didn't bother us in the slightest but could be an issue for others. Access to the rooms is via stairs and will be an issue for those with limited mobility. The room is small and the bathroom cramped. I'm 6'2" and had a bit of a fun battle with the shower. The TV if you are so inclined is tiny, however, you don't come to Jackfield and Ironbridge to watch telly. The pre-order breakfast probably wouldn't suit everyone but it worked fine for us.

Summary: Lovely friendly hosts. Superb breakfast. Great location.
