Positive: Cute name as we were going to West Point the next day. Perfectly adequate for a 1 nighter.

Negative: This motel is on a busy highway, so there is a lot of noise when trucks go by even though we were in the most set back unit. The room had a refrigerator and microwave, but they were not plugged in. I had to move them a few feet so that the plugs would reach. The heating/ cooling system was unusual and instructions on the wall were too small for old people to read. We suggest that a larger copy be provided. The floor in the bathroom was an unusual combination of 2 different styles and there were holes in the wall for pipes that were not patched.

Summary: Perfectly adequate for a 1 nighter.

Positive: it was very inexpensive. good location only 15 minutes away from a wedding at West Point we were there to attend. It was clean and it had nice big cable tv and the bathroom had new fixtures

Negative: the window airconditioner is loud. the room door only had a handle lock, no dead bolt and it needed weatherstripping .

Summary: this is a very basic budget friendly room. the hard working owners were eager to please
