We invite you to enjoy our fabulous cabin on 7 acres a of wooded land that is only 1 mile from Ricketts Glen State Park. The location cannot be beat, and the activities are endless!
This cabin is located 1 mile from the trail head of Ricketts Glen State Park Falls Trail - home to 22 gorgeous waterfalls. The cabin is also in close proximity to Lake Jean - where you can rent a kayak/canoe, go to the sandy beach of the lake, swim, fish, or ice skate!
The possibilities are endless!!!
This all-wood cabin is rustic yet has all modern amenities - air conditioning, internet, DISH TV, fully stocked kitchen (utensils, place settings, glasses, cooking utensils, pots/pans), indoor gas fireplace, outdoor fire pit and park style charcoal grill. There is also a large deck for outdoor living space! The kitchen was newly remodeled too!!

Note -
There are landscape ponds on the property. Caution should be taken near water with children.
A high chair and pack and play are also available for use.
Linens - Sheets and Towels provided for an additional fee - upon request.
Firewood is not provided but is sold nearby.
Please purchase firewood nearby for the firepit. Due to lantern fly infestations in other parts of PA, we prefer you do not bring firewood from outside the area.

When staying between Nov - April some snow accumulation should be anticipated in the area. A FWD, AWD, or 4WD vehicle is best for these conditions - as driveways and roadways may have some snow cover.
We encourage all of our guests to purchase travel insurance. FALLS TRAIL SYSTEM UPDATE: As of 4/1/25, the Falls Trail system is now fully open for the summer season with no restrictions. Please make sure you wear proper footwear for the rugged terrain (hiking boots, not flip flops or sneakers), bring plenty of water, know and do not exceed your physical ability level, and plan your route so you end up back where you parked.

Summary: My wife and I loved this cabin and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a stay near Ricketts Glen! The cabin itself is beautiful and very clean. The host was very attentive and helpful with tons of great information inside the cabin regarding the surrounding area. It is a great bonus that it is located within minutes of the park!

Summary: We booked this home due to its proximity to Rickett's Glen and due to all the positive reviews. The reviews are as accurate as can be. We agree - 5 stars - 10/10. A perfectly quaint cabin/cottage on a secluded lot. A perfect mix of rustic and modern. Plenty of heat, a Roku TV, open staircase, well-appointed kitchen/living room. The aspect that solidifies our high rating is the owner's communication. Very prompt and personable. They checked in on us the day after we checked in. Thank you!
