Positive: The pool was amazing, Luz and her family were super attentive to whatever questions we had and it was well located between activities to the east and west. Lots of fruit trees and amazing birds to watch.

Negative: It is located right next to the highway so we often heard the traffic, but there is nothing to be done about that.

Summary: Amazing! It was exactly what my family wanted in a vacation.

Positive: This is an amazing and stylish new property, well located in close proximity to Parque Tayrona and the beach at Mendihuaca. It is spacious enough for a large family and has a great kiosk and bbq area. The grounds are lush and well kept as the rest of the property. We felt so welcome by the owners on arrival and the property keepers Luz and Yair looked after us very well throughout our stay and took us on a day trip to the nearby river and made the most delicious sancocho on site. Would definitively recommend a stay here in this family and dog friendly property.

Positive: The property is perfect, the house is spacious and clean. The pool is great for kids. The gardens are well kept with a rich variety of plants and trees. Jair and his wife are so nice and available to help. There is a river behind the house that is worth exploring.

Positive: From the moment you enter Tayronaca you’re immediately amazed by the open space, nature, and overall facilities. The hosts Henny and Edgar were very accessible, easy to communicate with and provided excellent recommendations. The home is close to many areas Parque Tayrona (8-10 min drive) and Santa Marta (25 min). You must try the amazing cooking of Luz breakfast was 5 stars and she made lunch (Sancocho)for us one day and one of my favorite meals. We stayed 4 nights but wish we had more time to stay longer. I highly recommend this place from staying a couple of nights or planning a corporate event, wedding etc. You must visit the River that runs behind the property about a 15 minute walk and Yadir (caretaker of the property) will accompany you to the river. Easy walk and the view and water were breathtaking.

Negative: Nothing everything was perfect!

Summary: Tayronaca is simply one of the best places I’ve stayed while visiting Santa Marta, highly recommend

Positive: Places with pools are everywhere but, this huge place has an incredible river inside the property that the more you walk and more you love it. The Tayrona National Park is 5 minutes away. It’s close to the city just like 15 minutes and there local restaurants (Pizza, traditional foods and more); The dentist office, liquor store and much more. Ms Luz cooked local traditional breakfast and meals that are out of this world. (If you buy ingredients they will cook for you deliciousness). Easy access with new roads and it’s just there close to the main road. We love this place and already planning our next visit really soon. For families or large group of travelers is perfect.

Negative: Everything was fantastic. Nothing to change.
