Positive: This was a very large cabin with an ample living/dining/kitchen space, 2 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms. There was plenty of space for my whole family. It was very clean. The owner was friendly and quick to help/answer my questions. It was located just a few minutes driving from Uspallata, which had many restaurants, markets, etc. It was also about an hour from the ski centers, Puente del Inca, and Aconcagua park, making it very convenient.

Summary: Large, comfortable cabin just on the outskirts of Uspallata, highly recommend!

Positive: Perfect cabin to use as a base to explore the area. We came for a couple days of hiking on Aconcagua. We ended up staying longer because we liked it so much. Details: cabin is roomy and comfortable for 4 people, but more can fit if needed. There are full kitchen facilities, with an outdoor grill. There is a large yard with plenty of room for parking. The house is quite secure with a locking gate and shutters on all windows. Located in a shaded area with trees and a horse pasture next door.

Negative: 1. Its about 2 miles from Uspallata, so you need a car to get around. 2. The thing that is missing most is an outdoor table. We understand that it may be difficult to eat outside because of the local dogs that will want to share, but it would be nice to sit outside and read or work at a table. 3. It's a bit dark inside, but most cabins are like that.

Positive: Excellent, well equipped Cabana for exploring the area around Uspallata, doing some hiking in the nearby Andes and visiting Aconcagua Provincial Park. Located close to the centre of Uspallata for shopping, restaurants and anything you need for your stay - the Cabana is in a quiet and private area where you are able to enjoy a relaxing stay. Our host, Atilio, was proactive in communicating, kept in touch through the stay (and afterwards) and helped us with everything we needed in Uspallata! We very much enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to anyone visiting Uspallata!
