This superbly appointed and furnished bungalow offers two air-conditioned bedrooms, one with a twin bed and the other with a king-size double bed with an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. There is a fully fitted and equipped kitchen (with oven/hob, microwave). The lounge/dining area has patio doors to a private south-facing terrace and garden with table, chairs, and sun loungers - a great place for dining al fresco - and plenty of space for relaxing. The garden itself is enclosed, making it an ideal area for young children to play in. The ‘smart’ TV in the lounge provides access to over 200 channels in various languages, and there is a DVD player. 4G wireless internet access is also provided. The property itself is double glazed throughout, and there is a log burner in the lounge for those cooler winter months. Parking is widely available at various locations close by.The house is conveniently situated close to all the main amenities at Quinta do Paraiso, being just a short stroll from the centre of the complex. Here you’ll find an excellent Italian restaurant (takeaway available), poolside bar, mini-market, three large communal swimming pools, children’s pool, kids club, and a dive school. There is also a children's playground, tennis courts, and mini golf to enjoy, and other activities and entertainments are provided daily by the resort during the summer months. (Note - some activities incur an extra charge payable directly to the resort.)The walk into Carvoeiro provides stunning sea views, and you’ll pass by the beautiful Paraiso beach (a hidden gem down a flight of steps cut into the cliff face, but well worth the effort once you’ve made it down) before walking into the village itself. Here you’ll be able to wander onto the main beach, passing nearby cafes and restaurants, from where you can get boat trips to explore the glorious coastline with its renowned caves and grottoes. If walking is more your thing, then pass through the village and up to the church, where you’ll find a scenic boardwalk along the cliff tops that will take you along to Algar Seco, where a drink to take in the views at the Boneca bar is a must.Carvoeiro itself was originally a fishing village and still retains that small-scale charm. There are many restaurants here to choose from, with all tastes seemingly catered for. There are also many cafes and bars where you can sit and watch the world go by, either down by the beach or in the village itself. Often during the summer months, you’ll find live music or other entertainments being provided in the square by the beach. If you don’t then want to do the return walk to Quinta do Paraiso, there are always plenty of taxis readily available to give you a lift back.

Summary: I do think in an 11 night stay the beds could be changed twice not once. If not certainly the bathroom towels.

Summary: We had a fantastic time at the property, which was our first holiday away with our One Year old Son. The Villa has a nice private feel to it as it is tucked away, and we loved being able to just walk to the shop, the fantastic Italian restaurant on site, and of course in to Carvoeiro itself. I am sure we will be returning again!

Summary: Lovely place, even better than the pictures. We loved the resort and the fact that we could walk to Carvoeiro town. We didn’t get to use the pool much because it was very cold in early May. They even had a kids club in some days that my daughter joined for free.

Summary: We had a great time over New Year's Eve. The house is Portuguese furnished and gave us a good home after we heated it habitable. Value for money is very good. Contact with Katherine was straightforward and quick.

Summary: Lovely, well equipped villa. Was perfect for a few days away. It is a little tricky to find as our satnav bought us in from a slightly different direction but we got there. The villa is on quite a large complex but is tucked away and is very quiet. Short walk to the pool and little shop.

Summary: The villa was in a really great location very close to all local amenities. It was well stocked with all basic necessities for a comfortable stay. The three pools were amazing for my kids and they enjoyed playing in them everyday! The restaurant with live music at night was very nice and the bar airing the euro cup games was great! Overall we had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed it.

Summary: We had been to Quinta do Paraiso several times, but now for the first time in a cottage with 2 bathrooms and a private garden, very nice! Furthermore, as always plenty to do in the park (swimming pools/good Italian restaurant/EK activities) and within driving distance (nice places/beaches/water park/supermarkets and so on). June is also ideal in terms of weather as far as we are concerned. Highly recommended!

Summary: We had a wonderful stay in this great accommodation. The house is well maintained and fully equipped, even for children. We especially liked the garden and the covered terrace, where you could have breakfast in the morning sun. Communication and service from Elite Rentals was very good. The location is excellent for exploring the area with a rental car (5 minutes to Carvoeiro center and in 15-30 minutes you will reach many nice beaches and towns). Our only downsides: the mattresses on the single beds were quite hard, which could be better! And the pool water was (too) cold to swim in at the beginning of May. But all around a top spot that I would highly recommend!
