Positive: We had a great stay at Hotel César with my husband and my two Golden Retrievers. The receptionist was very nice and helpful. The hotel's location is great, just a few steps from the beach. Our room was very spacious and clean.

Positive: This was our second stay at Hotel Cesar. Staff were very helpful when my husband took ill and an ambulance had to be called. Homely hotel very close to the beach and facilities.

Positive: The hotel is charming and has been run by the same family since the late 1800s, which really gives it a warm and personal atmosphere. My room was generally very quiet compared to the noise of Barcelona, although on Saturday night it was a bit loud from nearby venues when the air conditioning wasn’t working. That said, this is not really the hotel’s fault, though maybe better sound insulation could help. The room was clean and even had a small bookshelf corner, which I found to be a lovely touch. Since I was in the area for a wedding, I didn’t spend much time at the hotel, but for two nights it was more than enough. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would definitely consider coming back if I return to the region. The fact that you can also walk to the beach is a big plus, especially for longer stays.

Negative: The only small downside was that my room wasn’t ready even though I arrived after check-in time, probably just a communication issue. Also, breakfast wasn’t included in the price -it would have been nice to have it complimentary.

Positive: We were greeted late in the evening and then we were so grateful to be helped to buy a parking permit. We had to make arrangements to change for a wedding and we were helped by being able to leave our bags in a safe place. The desk receptionist went beyond her duty to help us and we were so grateful

Positive: It was a clean and well maintained room, with old traditional architecture. Its walkable distance(five minutes) from the from the beach making it a good destination for beach holidays. The breakfast options were limited but still ok for the price.

Negative: It lacks modern bathrooms and amenities in the room. The wifi was very bad and frustrating our stay. Though the rooms were spacious and clean, the sound proof was bad and you could hear the talking from adjacent rooms.
