Summary: Not a friendly and inviting hotel,spa closed,wasp nest by pool side,not kids friendly or catered for. We had to eat out 2 nights because food was not acceptable and closed on a Saturday night . Less toiletries knowing you had 3 guest in a room but provided 1bath wash, why?? Wine selections not very good or nice

Summary: Very friendly and inviting staff. Restaurant wasn’t open but we were given an excellent recommendation for an Osteria in town. The room is a bit dated and the pillows are quite hard but everything was very clean and comfortable. We were here in the winter and it was very peaceful outside with the sounds of the stream and beautiful songs of the various birds.

Summary: We stayed here for three nights at the end of a three week visit to Italy. The bed our first night wasn't perfect, but they moved us to one of their best rooms, and it was marvelous. We didn't try the adjoining a la carte restaurant, since our initial experience at the hotel's prix fix dining room couldn't have been topped. (All three of the four course meals of varied local cuisine were wonderful.) The location was beautiful, and a final shout out needs to be given to the charming and helpful staff.

Summary: The resort was very relaxing with lovely views. The restaurant was not open during our visit but the staff gave us recommendations for the evening meal. We stayed one night after spending time in the national park. The local town is very quaint The breakfast was excellent. Ecologically friendly jam dispensers, freshly squeezed orange juice, a big selection of cakes, pastries, cheeses, cold meats and fruits. Hot food also available but we didn't have it

Summary: Excellent hotel great location just outside of town but close enough to walk in to. Staff very friendly and attentive, knowledgeable about the area, history and customs. Rooms comfortable clean and spacious, great to have a private balcony, fresh linen throughout the week. Food in restaurant top notch and evening meal reasonably priced, the only downsides were that the front of house staff were sometimes rather elusive and we had to search for them to get drinks etc and the local farm dog who insisted on starting his barking routine to awaken all the other village dogs at 6:30 am !! All in all an excellent hotel and an enjoyable stay.

Summary: Wonderful stay, we felt very much at home. The food was delicious and at a very high level - we've never had that at any hotel before. We would love to come again.
