This place might be a good fit for someone looking for a host who speaks native English. It could also work well for a large group looking to book the whole structure, especially since access to some spaces that should be private is actually shared if there are other guests in the building (for instance, you go through a small common area to get from one of the bedrooms to its bathroom).

Positive: The location, surrounding views and outdoor spaces are exceptional. Facilities included en suite bathrooms, hot tub and a lovely natural pool, private parking. There was plenty of privacy for those sharing the house, particularly around the grounds, which are extensive. Everything had a natural, traditional beauty. Staff were very helpful and the owner was easily contactable. Any queries were dealt with promptly. As a family, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Positive: The house exceeded our expectations. It has a beautiful, natural and quiet location with a great view of the mountains. From the village of Pontremolli one could still reach and visit a lot. The house has a typical Italian flair that makes the holiday mood even better. The pool and hot tub were also very clean and easy to use. Overall we were very happy with the accommodation, however it should be noted that the extra bed is a bit small for the price, so we couldn't use it. But that didn't affect our holiday negatively, the owners were always nice and helpful. Thank you for the great experience at the sanctuary :)
