A quiet place to get away, on three acres of wooded grounds, with all the things you want. Winter months, 4-wheel drive or chains are highly recommended! Close to town with a beautiful mountain lake just minutes away. Hiking, fishing, hunting, touring, train rides, or just sit back and enjoy the mountain beauty of trees, wildlife, and relaxing in a quiet home away from home. With all the kitchen utensils, bedding, towels, entertainment you need to make your stay a pleasant restful vacation event. Summary: Our stay was just perfect. We have a larger family with four children, and the house was a perfect size. We felt that it was a great distance to the town, easy drive to Mesa Verde and purgatory. Everything was fully stocked for me to cook for my family and it was wonderful. My little girls especially loved the 3-D TV. What a treat for them. Thank you so much!!!

Summary: Our stay at Byrket's Hideaway was exactly what we needed to relax and recharge. Absolutely adorable and lovely private place to stay. The hosts were fabulous and sweet. Summary: The road to property was a little rough. After you get there, there is every thing you need. We lived eating outside. The porch swing needs adjusted, it rubbed against the house & hit the back railing. Just the right amount of space for us 4 adults to relax & cook our evening meals after a full day of going.
