Summary: Melissa was a very accommodating and welcoming host. We had a lovely stay at By the Sea and wish we could have stayed longer. The bathroom was clean and the room was nicely decorated. There was even a hanger to put on the balcony to dry our clothes. The restaurant downstairs was delicious and everything was close by.

Summary: Location, location, location. Booked an Ocean view suite and it was wonderful. Nothing better then opening up the balcony door to a fresh ocean breeze and the sound of crashing waves. The room was spacious and well maintained. There are plenty of dinning options and for those that want to cook there are Marts near by and a shared kitchen on property. The host was wonderful with easy check in and help with carrying luggage up to the room. Highly recommend.

Summary: Great location with an awesome view! Parking is difficult at best; however, finding a spot is well worth the effort. We enjoyed a warm October on the roof top enjoying the spectacular sunset with a bottle of wine. Front office staff were very helpful. Would stay there again.

Summary: the room is less than 9sqm, terrible noise all the day and night from refrigerators outside enhanced by canyon effect. Rooms in different locations. Breakfast in a bar. This could be a b&b.

Summary: I stayed off season (October) and it was a perfect stay. Quiet, clean, comfortable- slept like an angel. Joao was so warm and welcoming and helpful. There's a jacuzzi on the roof that you can book for use. I booked during sunset- what a view! Perfect way to wind down before dinner. Any reviews that complain about having to move to the other building after checking-in at the main reception are absurd- the building is literally a few steps away. Overall, would definitely stay again during low season!! High season- might be noisy depending on the room.

Summary: Access to beach great. Not so great was restaurant noise from below until 3am. Off site parking was difficult and no where to pull off to unload car before finding parking.

Summary: Weather was beautiful, staff were helpful when we arrived and upgraded our room also! The hot tub on the roof was so nice at night! The bed and pillows were not the most comfortable but everything else was lovely! Nazare was stunning!

Summary: Great location, and room. Parking is an issue (which we now understand is just an issue in general in Nazaré, not this particular property). Very tidy, clean room with nice view of ocean and cute little balcony. Some noise from street at night, but to be expected. Overall, we were happy with the value and location!
