Positive: We loved our room - a bedroom and living room/kitchen area. Lots of space in a very antique quinta with SO MUCH history and old-world charm.

Negative: We stayed just before Christmas and the place was very quiet. Diogo was a great host, with lots of stories. We think it would be fun to be there in a warmer season with more guests and more activities.

Positive: Amazing place, very well preserved and maintained. We enjoyed the Library most of all - a time travel treat! - but also the accommodation, scenery and above all, the friendly reception.

Negative: We forgot to bring small candles and alas, the stocked ones were almost gone already.. But we had a lovely evening anyway

Positive: The location is perfect...........short drive to Nazare,, Fatima and other attractions. Diogo is a super host & speaks perfect English. The room was large with balcony view of the countryside. Breakfast was ok but could have been better with scrambled eggs. Very private & quiet property and safe.

Negative: Yard could have been brighter at night with more outdoor lighting. We missed TV in the room but walked to the main house to watch news, etc. WiFi in our room was sporadic.

Summary: A historic ex-monastery with the comforts of current lodgings. Don't miss it!
