Positive: The apartment was close enough to all the main attractions in Glasbury for us to leave the car in the adjoining car park and visit everywhere on foot. The view of the river from the window was beautiful, even in the rain! The shower was very powerful and hot. Unfortunately, we arrived too late in the season to enjoy the wonderful food in the restaurant downstairs as it had closed for the winter season. We know from previous experience how fantastic the food is there so we hope to visit again next year when we can experience more of their wares.

Negative: The road noise was rather obtrusive, although with the windows closed, it was just about bearable. It also quietened down considerably at night. Also, the room (Otter) with the 2 single beds was very small and only had one chair, so one of us had to sit on the bed, which although was wonderfully comfortable to sleep in, without a back to lean against whilst having a cup of tea it wasn't really comfortable to sit on. Neither of these small "niggles" would stop us from booking this apartment again though.

Positive: The property was ideally located for my needs, the host lives at the property and is lovely. The cafe downstairs does gorgeous pastries and coffee, as well as other food. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean, well appointed. Beautiful location right on the River Wye.
