Moving to the bedrooms, both have super kingsize zip and link beds which can be made into twin beds by prior arrangement to make your stay more comfortable. Both bedrooms also have their own large en-suite wet rooms that include a heated towel rail, Egyptian cotton bed linen, towels, dressing gowns and toiletries. There is plenty for everyone to see and do in this beautiful area of Lincolnshire with country lanes, cycle routes and lovely walks straight from the property for a gentle stroll as well as longer paths such as the Danelaw Way. Easton Walled Gardens, open mid-February until end of September, is a 5-minute drive away. The National Trust venues of Woolsthorpe Manor, birthplace of Sir Isaac Newton and Belton House are a 15-minute drive. Summary: What a superb property! It was perfect and the owner, Sue, went above and beyond to make sure we had a good stay, including replacing an armchair for one that suited my friend, who has accessibility needs. They'd also left us thoughtful things for our stay, including coffee pods, dishwasher tablets and lots of local goodies (biscuits, cheese, milk, tealoaf).The entire property has been so thoughtfully designed and all the features are high quality. We loved spending time inside, and outside - the wood-fired hot tub was brilliant, despite it being winter! The wildlife was also great - we saw a barn owl, hare, kestrel and buzzard. It is a in a very good location - quiet and rural but close to attractions like Belton House and Grantham.I loved it and would thoroughly recommend Buttercup Lodge.
