Bunkhouse overlooks the Medunkeunk Stream, which next to the Main house. This is essentially a Bed and Bathroom style Bunkhouse. There is NO STOCKED KITCHEN, (no utensils, dishes, etc.) We have a screened in outdoor kitchen with a grill and picnic table available for your cooking needs. Trailer 5 miles to direct access to ATV trails, (free trail maps available). Roast S'mores at the outdoor fire pit down by the stream(seasonal) to enjoy the peaceful evenings. Private road for long walks. There are chickens fenced in on the property (No Roosters) and adding Rabbits this year 2023.
Your just 10 mins from the town of Lincoln, ME which offers supply stores. shops, and restaurants. 1.5 hours to Baxter State Park's South Entrance. 2 hours to Acadia National Park.

Summary: Mike is an exceptional host and an easygoing, incredibly nice guy. He gave us the layout and helped us prepare for a water outing. Incredibly knowledgeable. It was quite nice to take a break from Wi-Fi for a couple days. A cozy cabin indeed, and just the right size for my 6’3 self and 5’7 girlfriend. Enjoy your respite as much as we did!

Summary: Mike and Heather were great. The cabin was perfect for the two of us and our cat. The area is peaceful and conveniently located near restaurants and shopping. Two thumbs up.

Summary: My partner and I were looking for a quiet getaway, which Mike and his wife provided perfectly! Located just off a main road and tucked away by a private stream on a private road, our bunkhouse was more than accommodating in terms of cleanliness, readiness, and quietness. Mike greeted us as we arrived and showed the utmost hospitality, advising us on locations to see nearby and offering any sort of assistance. There was never any moment where we felt like the property owners were too overbearing. They allowed us the getaway from the city that we needed, and even allowed us to explore on their kayaks, through the guide service they provide. Exploring the Penobscot River was so relaxing, especially since there wasn’t another soul around. The bunkhouse itself had a full sized bed, a TV for HDMI input, and a full bathroom, all for our own personal usage. We’ll certainly be returning to utilize more of their guide service’s, such as ice fishing, hunting, kayaking, and more!
