Positive: The property is very well maintained and the tour of the farm from where the daily veggies are consumed is a must. It is a sprawling and beautiful property. The hosts, Sakshi and Mudit are very welcoming and very accommodating. We enjoyed the chit chats during meals and also got lots of help regarding local sightseeing. The food was exceptional, fresh and tasty we enjoyed every morsel of it. We were there on 31st and the arrangements made for the open sky dinner was quite a memorable one with live barbecue and freshly baked rotis!

Negative: Nothing that we didn’t like.

Positive: This young enterpreneurial couple wanted to get away from the city and be more in touch with nature and their environment. By smart planning, careful considering every detail but also accepting that a journey cannot be planned in every detail they created this wonderful place. Customer first (and second and third) they try to cater to your every need without ever being pushy or subservient. All this while trying to be in perfect harmony with both nature and the local villages and people. Consistency in a vision like this can only be achieved when it is heartfelt and totally honest. Dear Sakshi & Mudit, we loved staying at Bundeli Kothi. (And I promise not to get sick next time ;-)) . Maaike & Jeroen

Positive: Such a lovely stay, the best place I stayed in India. Very quiet and peaceful small establishment with just the four rooms. Mine had a veranda facing the very pretty garden. It's a 15 min taxi to town but in practice, easily arranged, and this wasn't an issue. You're basically trading off an an idyllic country retreat with good sleep quality against the convenience of staying in town. Breakfast was good and the set menu vegetarian evening meals were exceptional the two nights I was there so I didn't need to go out for meals. Run by a lovely couple and I couldn't have been happier staying there.

Positive: A beautiful stay in the country side. The hosts gave us a very warm welcome and made our stay extremely pleasant in every way. Breakfast consisted of organically grown produce from their own farm. It was very quiet at night, so we slept soundly. Before we left, the hosts gave us an informative tour of the organic farm. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can highly recommend this accommodation.

Positive: 7 star experience - our family had an amazing experience at Bundel Kothi. The pictures do not do justice to the beautiful space that Sakshi and Mudit have created — each nook and corner is a piece of art with extreme attention to detail. The whole place is spick and span — much better than most hotels. Starting from the beautiful garden space (it’s massive) to the spacious lobby, dining area and rooms, everything was so well maintained and beautifully decorated. Most important — The home-cooked organic food is worth a special mention as each member relished it. It’s prepared and served with love. They have additional snacks/coolers on offer too. We were made to feel right at home and staying at Bundel Kothi was one of the best decisions. Have stayed in hotels in Orcha before but this is definitely the best property. Many thanks again to Mudit, Sakshi and the staff . We recommend them to all and hope to be back again. :)

Positive: Had a fantastic stay at Bundeli Kothi, a peaceful and relaxing haven only a short drive from Orchha. We felt right at home - Sakshi and Mudit were friendly and welcoming, accommodating for our every need including doing laundry for us. They shared local advice and provided exceptional service throughout. The home cooked dinner and breakfast were delicious, rooms spacious and the bed very comfortable. Only stayed one night but wished it was longer!
