Positive: The welcome was superb, nothing was too much trouble, or perhaps toil and trouble l should say given the proliferation for witches. Despite this or perhaps because of it l enjoyed my stay. Upon arrival there was homecooked shortbread, the best l have ever tasted and breakfast, well, there are not enough superlatives to give it justice, again the best l have ever tasted, surely some jiggery pokery magic going on there. And it was lovely to see the chickens strutting there stuff outside as if on some kind of mission. An unusual but wonderful stay.

Negative: To make a criticism would seem churlish given the excellent welcome and the stunning food, par excellence, but if l was to, as an observation, it would be just to say that the amount of witchy ornamation, although interesting, could be off putting for some or a little overwhelming for a longer stay. Otherwise though it really excelled in every area and l enjoyed my stay.

Positive: We didn’t opt for the cooked breakfast, but we really didn’t need to as we had an excellent choice with what was provided. My partner is celiac, so is gluten free and that proved to be absolutely no problem to our delightful host Tarquina. We will return

Positive: What a beautiful place to stay! Tarquina was an amazing host and an incredible cook. My breakfasts were so tasty and there was far more than I could possibly eat. The area is full of nature, quiet and full of birdsong. The room was fabulous, clean and comfortable and I had the added bonus of a jacuzzi bath. Everything is provided and plentiful, coffee teas, toiletries etc. I highly recommend and ill be back every time I'm in the area. Loved it!!
