Positive: Unique stay in an interesting old house. Friendly host and tasty breakfast. Communication was good.

Negative: The room we stayed in could use some updates and minor repairs but overall a good comfortable stay for a couple nights.

Negative: Very difficult to find the parking spot for the rental unit. It was dark at night (20h00) when we arrived and the parking entrance had no signs nor any lights showing the way in. The main neon sign is located on the main street where the main entrance is but there is no driveway leading to the place; just a piece of land with grass and trees on it. A very ockward place I had never seen before. The place defenitely need more signs and "lights". This place is not worth the $202 we paid for the night stay.

Summary: Souris is to be avoided for client arriving late as all eating places are closed by 20h00.

Negative: Temperature regulation on the shower was difficult. Hot upstairs without the fan I’m difficult to keep the window open.

Positive: After reading some of the other comments I decided to add my two cents. This seems to be a love it or hate it location. I, and my family, loved it. It was just a fantastic place filled with all kinds of memorabilia even a couple of collector motorcycles in the halls. The breakfast was great, egg soufflé with pancakes and smoked back bacon plus hot coffee. If you are looking for a place to stay with a great host, central location, really good food, clean comfortable rooms and a unique living experience then Bulwinkles is your place. I highly recommend it and I know we will stay again as will my brother and his wife.
