Positive: This place should be named the hidden gem, if you pay attention, you are located by Gashora wetland, a perfect habitat for birds, fresh air and breeze. I spent 3 three nights and I could truely feel remote! It was the perfect reset! They have a nice menu with food takes an hour or a little more to prepare but it’s always fresh tasting and never dissapoint. Staff is kind and simple.. it’s just s hidden gem. Something you wouldn’t expect!

Positive: The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and comfy. Loved the food, plus it were decent proportions for the prices. Super happy that i could enjoy a sauna and a cold plunge, and a boat ride in the evening with a beautiful sunset. Loved every experience i had at the hotel

Negative: I'm a Kenyan, so there was a bit of a language barrier because i don't speak Kinyarwanda and most stuff speak Kinyarwanda, but we went past the barrier and they called the manager whenever they didn't understand what i needed.

Positive: The place is superb and the sauna is really good! The food is great! Staff is super friendly and is providing good service.. kids enjoyed the space a lot! Definitely coming back. We arrived to the location on a boat from eagle view farm which was a great addition!

Negative: If they had massage service that would’ve been perfect!

Positive: Very special location with vivid wildlife: bats, birds, Geckos, monkeys, even a hypo all around you surprisingly. Very nice spot and restaurant on the lake and you live in a bungalow - great. If you have any minor problems - don't hesitate to tell the staff - they fixed very quickly. It was a lucky choice as stop over Nyungwe -> Akagera. On the way back instead of spending the day in Kigali we stayed again at Bugesera resort.

Positive: Maybe the location is good but the road to there is very bumpy

Negative: the room is old and the bathroom quite dirty. So many mosquitoes everywhere and most of the staff was not able to speak english

Positive: The simple but cosy bungalow, very friendly staff, gentle slope to the Lake, huge space to play around, nicely maintained garden, beautiful sunsets, bird watching all around, bonfire at night, the really really good food, relaxing feel of the place (the hamacs!), the kids friendly amenities, the local monkeys,
