Positive: Very peaceful rural country home with quick backroad access to Stirling. Having a washer was nice also. The bedding and towels smelled so clean.

Negative: We couldn’t get the shower to have strong hot water pressure and no shampoo/body wash. But a teacup isn’t far.

Summary: Very relaxing rural setting to get away from the cities but still close enough access them.

Positive: Location of property is perfect if wanting to escape the craziness of life. Close enough to Stirling by car but far enough away from the busyness and overcrowding. The property is large and is extremely well equipped. Buckie-Host has really thought of EVERYTHING and provides a comfortable, welcoming home from home to enjoy your holiday. The rooms are large and space definitely is not an issue. The property was clean and spacious for myself partner,sister and her 3 kids. Loved the fact there was a log burner. They loved getting to be in the country as did we! Thank you so much for such an enjoyable experience Buckie-hjost. We will absolutely be back

Positive: An amazing rural location with views over Edinburgh and the hill ranges. Set between Stirling and Loch Lomond for visiting as part of your stay. The small town of Denny is a few mins down the hills. A lovely house beautifully furnished with home from home facilities, which housed 2 couples and a child very well. We made day trips to Lomond, Stirling/Falkirk and Edinburgh while there (recommended- use the park and ride!)

Negative: We had an issue with no hot water from the boiler when we arrived. However the host fixed fast as possible and communicated very well.

Summary: A great place to base yourself for a relaxed getaway, or tourist day trips around Edinburgh area.

Positive: From the moment we arrived, it was clear that great care has been taken to ensure guests at Buckieburn have the best possible time there. We received clear and detailed information, the house was very clean and equipped to a high standard throughout, and there was good communication with the host. We had booked last minute after our original accommodation fell through but we ended up feeling glad that it had! WiFi was good (if you bear in mind the location of the property). Would not hesitate to stay here next time we are in the area.

Positive: 3 Buckieburn is situated in a peaceful rural area, but it is only 15 minutes drive from Stirling. The house is lovely inside - spacious, nicely decorated and the kitchen is well equipped. We went on quite a few runs/walks from the house - there is a short walk to a reservoir through the woods behind and the lane in front of the house is fairly quiet. During our stay we were able to visit a number of places - St Andrew's, Tentsmuir Beach, Dundee, Perth and the Trossachs National Park. The lady who dealt with our booking was extremely helpful and informative. We would definitely stay again if we came back to this area.
