Summary: This was our second stop on our Italy trip. Of the 3 places we visited, Assisi was by far our favorite. The B&B was a great location. Close to the Basilica of Saint Francis as well as the center of town. I would have appreciated more detailed instructions for getting to the B&B. We arrived at the train station, got on the Assisi link bus but got off what we thought was too early. We were intimidated by the hills and chose to get a taxi, which cost about 20 Euros, but brought us directly to the B&B. Had we known, we would have just taken a taxi from the train station. If you have luggage, the hills are no joke. On our way out of town we walked down to the bus to get to the train station, but getting up the hills would not have been fun with luggage. The B&B itself was very nice-comfortable, clean and offered a nice breakfast. I would highly recommend this location. The staff are friendly and helpful, but not around except in the morning, which was fine for us. We loved our visit to Assisi!
