Positive: This was a fabulous find! Fabulous rooms & amazing friendly owners who help you with tips of places & beaches to visit . Breakfast was the best I've eaten in any hotel, all freshly home cooked & a variety of choice - the pancakes & omelettes were to die for! Loved the honesty bar too - great choices of drinks, crisps & nuts too - we will be back!

Positive: I felt very relaxed and safe as a solo female traveller. Alistair and Scott work very hard at making the place a comfortable yet stylish place to stay . Wonderful breakfasts with so much choice and a lovely dining area and garden terrace.

Negative: Nothing to report here...!!!!....maybe longer running buses into Salcombe as they finish around 8 pm if you want to get an evening meal you would need a taxi back if no car.

Positive: Breakfast was amazing, interesting and multiple choices and very well cooked and presented by Scott. Decor certainly unique but fun. Conservatory a delight for breakfast. Our bedroom was quite small, we knew this when booking, but it had everything you needed and more. All bathroom fittings were top quality, towels, the softest ever, and changed daily. Alistair was the perfect host and very informative about the area. Altogether a very memorable stay and we would stay again.
