House fitted on one level and furnished in contemporary style with private pool of 8 x 3.5 m on a plot of 500m². 100m² divided into a master suite with bath and toilet, second bedroom, separate toilet, kitchen open to dining area, living area of 35 sqm. Sleeps 6 people. Water, electricity, internet access, towels and bedding provided. Rent weekly, fortnight or month. Close to the village center and all amenities. Ideally located between Aix and Salon (15 km respectively), in the country of Aix, at the foot of the Luberon and the threshold of the Crau. Many activities nearby (Zoo de la Barben, swimming pool, beaches, festivals, golf, tennis hiking and biking). TGV station and Marignane airport 40 minutes. This house is my main residence.

Summary: We stayed 4 weeks at this house tucked into a corner of very quiet Saint Cannat. Absolutely no vis-à-vis from any room or window. Great kitchen ,lovely living area and 1 big bedroom with en suite tub ad WC and both window and door to the pool,2nd bedroom smaller but good beds and closet space in both rooms. All air conditioned. Large shower room and separate toilet. Great pool with easy to eat outside table. Not a tourist town ,but we enjoyed being 30 minutes to an hour from almost anywhere in the Aix région. Lovely Michelin restaurant close by . Easy access to Aix by bus . Convenient village stores and center no more than 10 minute wall; also supermarket close by. Great owners, very careful to keep the pool okay for us even tho it was having some problems . Truly felt like home away from home.

Summary: We arrived in a maxi heatwave to attend a wedding in Aix en Provence, and made full use of the lovely pool! The only draw back to this well equipped and beautiful home, is the lack of air conditioning!! However we survived, and had a thoroughly enjoyable stay, our daughter making the most of the pool, but she lamented that there were no proper sun loungers!!, Eric is a most genial host, and made us fully welcome, and explained all about his home, even making sure that the house rules etc were also written in English,!
