Positive: Absolutely loved our stay at Bridge View Cottage in Hopetown. The views are beautiful and the entire space is spotlessly clean and incredibly well-equipped – everything has been thoughtfully considered. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even more special. Our dogs had the best time exploring, and it’s such a treat to find a place that’s genuinely pet-friendly. A highlight was definitely the lamb stew (available as an optional extra) – it was absolutely delicious and such a nice touch. The wood provided, comfortable bed, and overall peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect place to unwind. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing Karoo escape.

Positive: Wow, what a peaceful well appointed cottage to relax in. The outdoor area was a big bonus with a view overlooking the old bridge. There is a lovely short walk down to the river and many birds to try to spot and listen to. Numerous treats were also left for us to indulge in. Any questions were answered promptly by the host.

Positive: Everything. Our host, Margo is a lovely person and she really went to great lengths to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Even our dog was spoilt with doggy treats and we were also delighted with all the luxuries, we have never before been spoilt so much. My husband was not feeling well and Ben came back from town with an Energade for him. We loved the view and the peaceful time we could spend there. I definitely recommend staying at Bridgeview, Hopetown

Positive: I was warmly welcomed and had a good stay. The room is great and the view is a big plus, parking is possible next to the room. The Kitchen is a plus too!

Negative: The gravel road to the bridge view is challenging. I had a rental car and would have preferred to know about it in advance.
