Positive: Great location. Very clean and homely. We stayed as a group of 5 and thoroughly enjoyed.
Negative: The only downside was we weren’t able to get the log burner fired up as there wasn’t any kindling or firelighters. Not a dealbreaker as the stay was really great

Positive: The location of the cottage suited us as it was within easy distance of York and we used the bus instead of taking the car. The view from the cottage was very pleasant, overlooking the River Ouse and the old swing bridge. The place was warm and cosy and very comfortable. The WiFi instructions were incorrect but we worked out the password from other info available.
Negative: The only problem we encountered was disposing of our rubbish. The wheelie bins were totally full to bursting and rubbish was beginning to accumulate around the bins. They could do with emptying.
Summary: A well kept cottage and a great place to stay for visiting York.
