Positive: The view across the Tay is beautiful, the decor is very cool, the main bedroom mattress is super comfy. The wood burner is lovely and cosy, the kitchen and bathroom are nice and modern. The flat was nice and clean. Proximity to shops and bars very good.

Negative: Unfortunately at the time there were pigeons nesting in the roof space above the bedroom and the scratching noises from them scrabbling about in there kept me awake all night on the first night. Wearing earplugs sorted it out for the subsequent nights. the owners were unaware this was happening and have said they will get pest control round to sort the problem now.

Positive: Spacious, lovely views and well equipped. Friendly info. Character and comfort have been considered and the location is so special, with the beautiful views of the Tay. Very central to shops, which are below, but quiet mostly when we were there.

Negative: The floors are wooden which was aesthetically lovely, but were a bit noisy to try to move around in the bedroom, without waking my partner. The bathroom is quite compact but nicely done, might need some info re operating the shower which isn't quite clear.

Summary: Easy, friendly and spacious with lovely views and atmosphere.

Positive: The location, next to shops and places to eat and the view of the Tay rail bridge, is great. As a base to visit Dundee it was great. Even next to the main road, it was quiet. Parking at the back was always available. Clean, well equipped and spacious.

Negative: The TV barely worked. Terrible reception making it unwatchable and the only app we could get to work was BBC iplayer, which will stop working in November. Attempts to sort it were flummoxed by all the menu text being in German. There was a good selection of DVDs, but we were only there for a short stay, so did not use them.
