Positive: The house was nice and cosy, the sofas where really comfortable. It was probably one of the cleanest of all the houses we have stayed in. Was well kitted out , kitchen appliances etc and just about everything you could ever need. Even, milk,butter , bead & biscuits all fresh layer out for us arriving, which I thought was a real nice touch, even tablets etc for the dishwasher, great attention to detail. You really could just walk in the door and you had all you needed to get started.

Negative: There wasn’t much not to like, probably our biggest gripe would be the internet, as there was 6 of us , and all the kids had tablets etc the internet was very slow and sometimes just seemed to stop altogether. But this may not be an issue for everyone.

Summary: I lovely spacious cottage, with enough space to find a quiet corner with two great wood burning stoves . Would defo stay

Positive: Annette was very helpful & made sure everything was ok. Milk, butter, fresh bread & biscuits waiting upon arrival. Helped us set up the stanley stove for a lovely real fire. The house was spotless. Great attention to detail.

Negative: One of the mattresses was not very comfortable, think it needs to be replaced

Positive: House was well looked after. Nice quite country area. 3 double bedrooms. Well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, 2 tvs etc. Great to have 2 sitting rooms so kids could watch something in one room with adults in another. Great base for touring around. Owner, Annette, is a lovely lady and was so kind to our son when he needed minor medical attention. Found it very relaxing.

Summary: Home away from home. Everything you need. So peaceful.
