Positive: Located in the village, by the road but with a beautiful view from the other side, over a field with grazing sheep and a river a short walk from the cottage. From a big panoramic window in a sitting room you can spot also a local cemetry on the left, well worth visiting. The cottage is fully equipped but not 'luxurious" which somehow fits so well with especially this part of Ireland. I loved the spare rubber boots and umbrellas left for guests in the hall, especially boots were appreciated a lot if one wanted to walk around in the rainy morning. As it was quite cold, the central heating and a turf stove helped to make our stay comfortable.

Negative: I think it should be added somewhere in the information that the 'laundry' room is shared with another accommodation place.

Positive: Cottage was absolutely beautiful, love the views from the windows never mind around the cottage itself no matter what direction you go in. Annie's River cottage was comfortable, warm and kitted out with everything you need. It's literally a home away from home.

Positive: My husband and I and our 2 dogs had a brilliant time at Annie's River Retreat. The house itself was lovely and clean, had everything you could need and the views and location were perfect. We cannot wait to return.

Positive: Cosy, beautyfull cottage. Well furnished, comfy beds, all what was needed was provided. Fantastic location,amazing views, close to all touristics places. Pet friendly. Annie was very friendly and helpfull. Definitely will be back. Highly reccomended.

Positive: It was a perfect location, it felt very homely. The property was very clean, spacious, comfy and just overall beautiful.

Negative: The only thing I would recommend is a lock on the inside of the bathroom door as the door doesn’t close properly

Positive: Our whole experience and stay was so beautiful the property had the most breathtaking view onto mountains and river, the enclosed fencing on the property was a nice touch too. Every room in the cottage was spotless and well decorated, fantastic fire that kept you warm for the cold winter nights. I could go on there was genuinely not one fault. Communication was also very positive!

Negative: Can’t find a thing to say that we never liked we just loved it all.

Summary: Cosy clean cottage in a great location can’t wait to return back here

Positive: A little slice of heaven in the wilds of Donegal. Comfortable house with amazing views. Storm Bert kept us in the house a day or 2 and it was lovely watching and listening to it looking out the picture window. The decking at the river is a major plus. Will deffo be back in the lighter nights to enjoy it more.
