Positive: Size of property & facilities were excellent. Loved the dining room & lounge. Location was fab with gorgeous scenery & we could do amazing walks from the front door!!

Negative: Car parking is a bit of an issue. Bathrooms could have been cleaner & with hand wash & hand towels.

Positive: The house was lovely and cosy with plenty of room for us all. The beds and bed linen were really comfortable and the showers were hot and powerful. The Kitchen was cosy and had everything we needed and the utility was great for our boots and jackets after walking. The views were incredible and we enjoyed watching the lambs in the field over the road.

Negative: Some areas could have been a little cleaner and there was very little toilet roll and no soap or bath gel. It would have been nice to have a small welcome pack - tea, coffee etc and a few biscuits. There was no instructions for the hob which was annoying as couldn’t get it on at first. The aga was not on high enough to use for cooking.

Summary: We loved our stay - it was a perfect base and we hope to return.
