Positive: I liked the apartment. It was beautiful and clean.

Negative: Rachel the host was very unprofessional. I was going to St. Louis to visit my mother who was sick. I took the train and booked a rental car and my stay at this location. I did not recall seeing an additional fee for parking. Rachel messaged me and told me I had not paid the parking fee, I told her I thought it was included. She then messaged me back and said, it was not included and if I didn't want to pay the fee I was more than welcome to cancel. I felt like this comment was smart Alec and unprofessional. Of course I could cancel, anyone can cancel anything but it needed not be said in this manner. I messaged her back and let her know I would not cancel that I would pay the $75.00 parking fee. I also said, why would I cancel when my booking was non refundable. Rachel then called my phone. I told her I was on the train and would call her when I arrived. She kept talking. I told her again, that I was on the train, and would call her when I got there. She kept talking. I hung up. She then sent me a message telling me that she was a professional and listing her resume. I was really irritated at this point because, I had just told her that I would call her when I get there. Once I arrived and got settled with my rental car, I called Rachel. Her husband Joel answered. Joel took over my stay from that point and things got better. Overall it was a good stay. Rachel the host, was my only problem. She was very unprofessional.

Negative: There was nothing we found to complain about. It was a perfect stay!

Positive: Beautiful loft in a great central location with historic character. We spent a week here and appreciated all of the practical functionality, including the well-appointed kitchen and bedroom. If you are a light sleeper, you should be aware that it is next to a busy highway that is fairly loud. We would definitely stay here again!

Positive: The loft was exactly as shown in the pictures, very comfortable and clean but it was really Joel, the host, who made all the difference: he was super responsive, friendly, and accommodating. Our return flight didn't leave until 4pm and while I only inquired about being able to use the parking until then, he proactively offered us a late check out for the loft as well. We couldn't have been happier!
