Positive: The house is in a beautiful and secluded location with wonderful gardens, large airy rooms and plenty of space for large family gatherings or group stays. It would also make a great venue for a writers' or artists' retreat. The large and very well-equipped kitchen has everything you are likely to need to cater for a large party, including two dishwashers. There were plenty of bathrooms for our needs as a party of 15, they were all very clean. Communication with the property owner was easy and straightforward. Although the property is well off the beaten track, there are plenty of shops and services within ten minutes drive. The local pubs we tried were all very welcoming and served great food.

Positive: The house is amazing and set in a beautiful location. It has everything you need; the kitchen is very well equipped to cook for yourselves. We particularly loved all the old features of the house, and enjoyed the fire in the living room on the colder winter evenings. All the beds were very comfortable too. There is a very nice pub just down the hill from the house too which was very cosy. We had a fabulous time celebrating the New Year in, and even braved a New Years dip in Keepers Pond only a short drive a way - definitely recommend! Thanks for such a great stay - we would love to come back!
