Positive: Such a wonderful location right in centre of the small town of crickhowell and added bonus for us was the hot tub after a long days walking it was the perfect way to relax. The attention to detail in this house is amazing they even left us some dishwasher tablets and there was cosy blankets on the seats too so we felt ready to relax.

Positive: We loved the location and how comfortable the furniture is. Felt right at home. Plenty of space for 5. Sky sport was a bonus. Parking can be paid for on the app when you arrive for your entire stay but there is plenty of free parking.

Negative: We expected a larger outside area as the cottage is dog friendly. The hot tub takes up most of it and there is nowhere to sit. Perfect for a winter break. Not so good when it’s 32! The freezer needs a defrost…and the mould removing in the bathrooms but otherwise well kept and very comfortable. We weren’t bothered by the takeaway next door and loved being in the centre of town for pubs and cafes…

Positive: It was a great location to be in the centre of the village and the hot tub was lovely. Jon the private chef was absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond. Two of the bedrooms were lovely

Negative: There were no toiletries which was extremely disappointing after it saying there would be. We had to wash in Carex handwash from the sinks. The creaking landing kept everyone awake in the night with visits to the bathroom. The smell from the chip shop next door was unpleasant and aside from the space for the hot tub there's no garden to speak of. The small bedroom was freezing cold and we really struggled to get it warm enough.

Positive: The property was in a great location for the town, the property was cosy, clean and tidy. The beds were so comfy, we all slept very well! The owners are easily contactable and replied to messages quickly.
