Senator Langford's estate on the river was exquisitely restored and remodeled by the current owners. The colonial, plantation house was built in 1850s. This compound is a once in a lifetime experience. The main house has two updated bedrooms & two updated bathroom; the guest house has one updated bedroom & one updated bathroom with a kitchenette. Bathrooms are finished with bright, beautiful tile and marble, and high-end fixtures. The estate is on two manicured acres and comes with private pool and many outdoor lounging areas. It is ideal for adult groups, special occasions, hikers, and wine industry insiders.
The owners spared no expense; importing 5-star luxury and modern flairs throughout the property. Enjoy the beauty of the country and park-like grounds. The property is rich with character, history and has all the benefits of a modern home.

Summary: Our stay at Langsford House was perfect! The house itself was beautifully decorated with touches of elegance yet you still felt comfortable and cozy. Had everything needed for preparing meals and preparing a beautiful table setting. Grounds and landscaping were very nice and the pool area was relaxing. Pool maybe needed a little TLC but still great! Ideal country property for a little R&R surrounded by vineyards and lots of wineries/tasting rooms (if you so choose). Loved it!

Summary: This property was beyond what we could ask for. The home was beautifully furnished and had something for everyone. We felt like we were home away from home. And the river is just a stones throw from the backyard which was a nice added feature for a leisurely walk. We truly hope to book again in the spring/summer to be able to enjoy the pool and all surrounding outdoor features!

Summary: The Langford Estate is a choice destination for a wine country escape in Lodi. This historic house has a 5-star quality about it. Comfortable bedrooms, lots of space to relax both indoors and out, and perfectly sited in the middle of acres of vineyards. Nothing in Lodi is more than a 30 minute drive away. And the Paskett Winery wines are excellent too! What more could you ask for???

Summary: Love, love, love Langford House. If you are looking for a quiet, serene relaxing getaway this is the place. Amazing wine tasting, beautiful scenery, and oh so quiet. The house has all you could need and more. They even have throws for when you get a bit chilly. Oh and don't get me started on the master bath, so amazing. We went tasting at Paskett Winery and Durst, both have delicious wines with that country feel. Already looking at my calendar to book for another weekend.Thank you for having us and helping us create new memories.

Summary: Estate is beautiful and spending time on the grounds/gardens was delightful. Communication with owner was easy and quick. Bathrooms are quite zen and the rest of the rooms have such character. It was a wonderful change of scenery, even for a short trip!

Summary: If you love wine country but haven’t visited Lodi, get with it! This super-clean, graceful, historic house is located in the middle of the vineyards of the Acampo area With many wineries nearby. With two en-suite bedrooms, a formal sitting room, comfy family room, modern kitchen and plenty of space, you can relax decompress among the vines. Oh and I forgot to mention the beautiful swimming pool—just the thing to refresh after a day of tasting. In September we had cool morning breezes and the central AC to cool things off in the afternoon. If you are tired of eating out in cramped outdoor restaurant seatings make sure to run over to Daddy’s House of Ribs in nearby Lockford for takeout to bring back to the house for a memorable meal on the patio with some of the wine you picked up that day! You won’t be disappointed with your stay at the Langford House!

Summary: The house and grounds are beautiful, and our group was able to do every game/leisure activity we planned for, including bocce (byo), bbq, badminton, and of course plenty of pool activities. The host was very responsive and friendly. We had an excellent time.
