Positive: Lovely (and surprisingly 'spacious') little cabins with all the amenities you really need. The fire pit and barbecue system worked well and the hot tub was easy to top up and a good addition. The sofa bed was easy to set up and comfy.

Negative: We would have liked a bottom sheet for the sofa bed as the plastic cushions squeaked every time you turned around and also weren't that comfortable under skin.

Positive: The location was great for us everything we wanted to see was close, Gretna green and Hadrians wall. It was a 2 night stop for us on our way back from John o groats. So it was lovely to have the hot tube after a long journey. Such a lovely site with the lake and cafe. Having the fire pit was great bonus.

Negative: Although for 2 nights it wasn't a big problem but the beds were very hard. I'm not sure I could have done more than 2 nights. There was a very small saucepan if your cooking for more than 1 person you will need to take a bigger one.
