Summary: The Brae Loch is a unique place to stay in. Their rooms have old world charm but are very up to date. The room was very comfortable. The whole place has a very welcoming atmosphere. The included breakfast has a nice variety of choices. The dinners are excellent and tasty.

Summary: The staff were very pleasant and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a nice choice of pastries, bagels, yogurt, etc. and there was milk or half and half in addition to the flavored creamers. My only complaints are that the room was very stuffy when we arrived and there was no hot water. Being that it was a holiday and the restaurant was closed, may have made the difference.

Summary: Where do I start. I will start with check in, which was very confusing and not intuitive. I had to go upstairs and walk around a little and ask. I ended up checking in with Hank, WHO WAS AWESOME!!!! He said I was in room 12 and that it is their haunted room. Excuse me, what?! I was freaked! I had no idea this Inn was haunted! I went to the room and the smell was absolutely awful. It was a musky scent and I sneezed and sneezed and sneezed. I didn’t sleep a wink due not only being scared to death but also the scent and sneezing all night. My nose ran for hours. The scent is hideous. This Inn is old, like 1800’s old so the floors creek and the heat system is very loud. I unfortunately did not enjoy my stay here AT ALL and left first thing in the morning. If you want to hang out with ghosts, perhaps this is for you. I will say though that the bed was incredibly comfortable!!! Other than that, I wish I never wasted my money coming here.
