Summary: Property is in need of refurbishment, kitchen door facias are in poor state, flooring in ensuite is damaged due to water ingress. Main toilet water pipe has a leak. Stains on furniture and in need of desperate TLC.

Summary: Very clean and tidy, perhaps a little dated but the hot tub more than made up for it. Stress and hassle free the check in process was easy. The site is very well maintained making it an all round relaxed and very enjoyable stay.

Summary: The stay was just what we were after somewhere away from the business of Windermere /.Bowness whilst being on the doorstep, it was a stunning location. The onsite Haybarn Inn is a lovely cosy place, with great staff. Queens Head is within a 15 minute walk and the place / food is amazing. The property itself was clean, comfortable, a home from home and the hot tub an added bonus. We were also lucky enough to be told our new check out time was 5pm, guessing due to no one being in the following day but this was a nice extra touch by the park. Check in and out was so easy too with the key box. We will definitely be back 😁

Summary: This was our second time booking Bowness Lodge with Lakes Cottages and Lodges Ltd. The booking process is very easy and reasonably priced. It is one of the older lodges but in a good position with a hot tub. The beds are very comfortable and there is a bath (which we prefer after a long day walking) as well as an ensuite shower room. The lodge is dog friendly with a gated decking. The weather was dreadful with torrential rain but the cabin is very cosy and lovely and warm.

Summary: We had a fabulous break at Bowness Lodge. The location was stunning and perfect for walks and visits to Windermere, Ambleside and Ullswater. The hot tub was a great bonus. The only couple of things to note, some hand soap would have been good and possibly a mat inside the patio doors for feet when coming inside from the tub. Apart from that everything was perfect. Thank you

Summary: Lovely, comfortable lodge, spotlessly clean with everything you need for a self catering holiday. Spacious outside seating area with the hot tub being an extra enjoyable luxury which we used a few times over our stay. Overall very nice park with excellent dog walking facilities. My only grumble would be that it offered parkwide WiFi but it never worked the whole stay. Will definitely book with Lakes, Cottages and Lodges again.

Summary: This was our first time booking with Lakes Cottages and Lodges Ltd. We have stayed at Limefitt Park many times but never at Bowness Lodge. The lodge is in a good spot on the Park and was absolutely spotlessly clean. I have never left a tip for a cleaner before but did on this occasion. We had a couple of issues with the ensuite toilet and TV but after reporting this they were dealt with within an hour. We did not use the hot tub but it could perhaps do with some privacy screening. There was everything you needed if self catering and the outside seating area had the sun most of the day and evening. It is a dog friendly lodge and we will definitely be returning.

Summary: Very good properly. Clean and tidy. Had everthing we needed. Hot tub was wonderful. Just could have done with a fan as very hot in cabin. Cabin were a little close to each other but overall was nice break. Good value for money. Letting company were good.
