Positive: This is an amazing property to stay at. The staff are courteous and very helpful. There are multiple activities to keep you busy during the day. The food is par excellence at both their restaurants. I enjoyed the swimming pool, albeit slightly cooler than anticipated. Highly recommend staying here.

Negative: I expected a single super king size bed, but instead had to make do with two single mattresses put together, in a castle room, which wasn't expected from a five star property, and at this price point.

Positive: The property was beautiful. We loved every minute of our stay, from the time we arrived to the time we left.The girls on reception were wonderful and treated us like superstars. The room was gorgeous. Golf course was amazing. Had great time walking around that, not to mention the variety of lounges were perfect. We would recommend this to anybody looking for a spot of luxury during their stay in the UK.

Positive: Bovey Castle is set in a beautiful location with lots of facilities- golf course, spa, pool, archery, air riffles etc. it is extremely well presented and captures the modern v old worldview style perfectly. The staff are very efficient but also friendly and very approachable. The rooms are comfortable and very well appointed.

Negative: Our room (47) had a low frequency drone present all night which was distracting and made sleeping difficult as everything else so quiet. The shower door didn’t close properly and led to a pool of water in the bathroom when the shower was run. The seals looked in bad condition and should have been replaced some time agin. But apart from that everything was in good condition
