Positive: We loved our stay at Carpe Diem. The accommodation is beautiful and instantly makes you feel relaxed, the garden / pool area is so peaceful. The location is brilliant, a few minutes walk to the Centro historico and close to many beaches. The staff are excellent and the breakfast / coffee and cake in the afternoon is delicious. We would recommend staying here!

Positive: the location is perfect, very close to the historic centre, but also quiet the hotel and room was beautiful - the furnishings and artwork are amazing the staff were lovely and helped us with travel from Angra dos Reis and back to Rio airport the gardens were very peaceful and well tended, we didn't use the the pool as we went to the beach breakfast was lovely - a lot of home-made items eg bread and jam, and cake at 5pm the price of beer and water in our fridge in room was very cheap

Negative: BUT we were woken every morning by the staff preparing breakfast on the ceiling above us could hear them walking back and forth on the floor boards as we were underground BUT the wooden double bed squeaked every time I moved, which woke my son up who was sleeping on the sofa bed

Positive: Very well appointed and maintained, very friendly staff and wonderful breakfast! Location is great, just a short walk from the old town, but secluded enough to be peaceful and with easy access for those driving.

Negative: Em geral tudo excelente

Positive: Just by the center, they created a small paradise with great attention to details. Free breakfast and afternoon tea and a sense of very calm atmosphere. The staff super friendly and always available. They helped us with luggage. Thanks a lot and we will be back!

Positive: Breakfast was spectacular and if you need anything, people are super helpful and nice, maybe the nicest I’ve ever had in a hotel! Also, it’s a very short walk to downtown which was great and had good parking situation. Also it was a great surprise that in the afternoon they served coffee and cake (which was delicious!)

Negative: No complaints! The pictures give you an impression that it’s bigger than it is but we loved it!
