Negative: We had a balcony room which is not good for light sleepers due to noise on the street. I did not like you have to ask for the coffee maker and hair dryer at the front desk. WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT WHEN CHECKING IN

Positive: Room was good. Wasn't the one I thought I was booking from photos on the website. disappointed. Location was center of town. Local noise late into the night was disturbing. Parking couldn't have been easier. Right outside the front door with stanchions in place for reserved parking. In addition the staff had left a welcoming "Pregnant mom" sign in our room. Very personal touch and appreciated! Staff were very receptive and helpful

Negative: A clearer understanding of the room you are reserving on booking.com. Noise was disturbing but not sure how you can control that.

Summary: Great overall experience. Would stay again.

Positive: I stay in Ponce once or twice a year, and of the hotels I have stayed, in the center of town, Hotel Bélgica was the best by far. The room was clean, ac worked great, hot water and wireless worked! I will be staying again.

Negative: I can't think of anything....but some folks may think it outdated, but I liked the old world charm.
