Positive: Everything! I was so bummed we only booked this place for a stopover . I would have stayed here for several days more. The AC was cold, the pool was lovely, the rooms were awesome and spacious and the food and service in the restaurant were top notch! Can’t wait to order some olive oil and wine in the Fall!

Summary: This is one of the best country houses we’ve stayed at in Tuscany.

Positive: We arrived at 845 at night, and the waiter was waiting for us! The view is breathtaking as it is located at the top of a mountain. The rooms were cosy and quaint. It is very remote, so if you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place. The dinner was delicious and very good. It was pricy but worth it.

Negative: I can actually say that for one night, everything was wonderful. The shower had a leak, and I was told there was already someone there to fix it as we were leaving.

Positive: It's a comfortable hotel in a pleasant rural location. Friendly staff, generous communal living room, and there was decent food in the restaurant.

Negative: The interior decoration is a bit 'faux Tuscany', which jars given that we're in real Tuscany here. It all felt a bit faux, to be honest. But then I'm fussy about that sort of stuff. The thing that bothered me most was that when I checked in I was shown to a basement room which looked out onto a wall. This, in an area noted for its beauty, I found rather odd, particularly since the hotel had only one other guest. They moved me to a normal room which looked out onto the valley, so this was resolved, but it left a sour taste in the mouth.

Summary: Pleasant and comfortable with friendly staff, though slightly over-done taste-wise, a bit 'faux'.
